'Vidyarthi', an ancient Sanskrit word has its origin in the conglomeration of two words, 'Vidya' meaning knowledge and 'Arthi' meaning 'a person desirous of attaining knowledge'. This attainment of knowledge is what we understand as education. Mythologically, the process of education took place at the 'Gurukuls'.
